Beginning in 2000, NOC began to supply engine oil for F1 racing cars to Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Honda), thus becoming the first Japanese oil refining company to supply engine oil for F1 racing cars.
Especially from 2005, we signed of a Lubricants Partner contract with the B•A•R Honda F1 team (Current "Honda F-1 Team").
In addition, from 2006, we began to supply engine oil and gear oil to Super Agri F1 Team.
NOC aims to further evolve and develop its own technological capabilities for lubricants based on the expertise gained in F-1 racing through these activities.
